Dr. Huyen Tran is a Senior Research Scientist at Purina Animal Nutrition. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Nong Lam University, Vietnam in 2005, and went on to complete her MS and PhD in Animal Science at the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2009 and 2013, respectively. Prior to joining Purina Animal Nutrition, Dr. Tran worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar for the National Animal Nutrition Program (NANP), where she contributed to the development of feed composition databases for NANP and NRC. Since 2013, she has been working with the Purina Swine Innovation team. Dr. Tran's research focuses on nutritional health and microbiome and the development of swine feed, probiotics, and additive products that enhance the health and performance of pigs.
