Hailey Hedrick is a second-year master's student studying animal science at the University of Missouri. Working under the guidance of Dr. TIm Safranski, Hailey's research focuses on mitiagating the effects of heat stress in gestating sows. She is also studying the relationship between body condition measures and boar reproductive performance. At the conclusion of her master's degree, Hailey wants to build a career in the swine industry helping producers maximize sow performance. Hailey received her bachelor's degree in animal science from Purdue University in 2022.
