Prof. dr. Shuai Zhang, professor and doctoral supervisor of College of Animal Science and Technology, China Agricultural University. He is currently the Head of Teaching and Research Department of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Feed Industry Center. He graduated from Virginia Tech, USA, and has achieved a PhD degree in Animal Science and an M.S. degree in Statistics. He serves as an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Animal Science, etc. His main research interests include mathematical models to achieve precise and sustainable nutrition in pig production, especially focused on net energy system in pigs in China. He has published more than 50 SCI papers in the past 5 years as the first or corresponding author. He has also hosted more than 10 projects as a leader in the past 5 years. He also won the 1st Prize of the Shennong Chinese Agriculture Award in 2019.
