My name is Sara Virdis. I graduated in Animal Science at University of Bologna in 2021. I am currently enrolled in the third and last year of a PhD in swine nutrition at University of Bologna. During 2023, I obtained a scholarship for the PIGWEB Summer School (Dummerstorf, Germany), I won the award for Best Oral Presentation during ASPA Congress (Monopoli, Italy) and the award for Young Researchers funded by the EAAP during the 74th EAAP Congress (Lyon, France). During the PhD I had the opportunity to performe a meta analysis published in 2023: " A meta-analytical approach for evaluating the effect of arginine supplementation on the productive performance of sows during gestation.
