Ursula McCormack is a scientist in dsm-firmenich’s Translational Sciences Monogastric Team, based in Switzerland. Since joining DSM in June 2019, Ursula works on investigating new feed additives and nutritional solutions to promote swine nutrition and health.
Ursula has a Bachelor’s-degree in Agricultural Science from University College Dublin (2013) and gained her PhD in 2017 titled “Investigation and subsequent manipulation of the intestinal microbiota of pigs, with a view to optimizing feed efficiency” from Waterford Institute of Technology and Teagasc, Ireland. Before joining DSM, Ursula completed a Post-Doc investigating dietary strategies to reduce emissions from pigs at the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI).
