Mina Shumaly is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Interdepartmental Genetics and Genomics at Iowa State University. She embarked on her academic journey at Iowa State University in fall 2022, following the completion of her undergraduate studies in biotechnology at Tehran, Iran. Mina's research interests lie in exploring the integration of computer vision-derived phenotypes with genetics evaluations to enhance breeding and management decisions.
