I am Elli Burris and I am a second year masters student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am a student of Dr. Anna Dilger in the Meat Science and Muscle Biology department. I have been working on a project that focuses on the cause of early mortality in myostatin loss-of-function pigs as well as soaking up all the knowledge I can in the area of meat science. In my spare time I love to spend time with my husband and our two dogs. I also love to reading fiction books!
