Dr. Hiroaki FUNAHASHI is currently a Professor (Animal Reproductive Biotechnology) of the Graduate School of Environmental, Life and Natural Science and Technology and Vice dean of School of Agriculture, as well as a professor of the ART Center, at Okayama University, Japan. After educated and awarded a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from Okayama University in 1990, he was contributed to research at University of Missouri-Columbia, as a postdoc and research assistant professor under Prof. Billy N. Day (1991 to 1996). In 1996, he was back to his mother university, as an associate professor. He has been promoted to a full professor since 2012. He also served as Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science (2017-2021) and as Executive Director for Academic Affairs and Provost (2021-2023) of Okayama University.
